Our Pawsome Place

At Yeppoon Boarding Kennels & Cattery, we are passionate about providing safe, comfortable accommodation for pets while their humans are away. Yeppoon Boarding Kennels & Cattery first opened our doors to cats and dogs in 1974 and the business is now currently owned by Angela and Lester. We have grown since then, and our business now includes a handful of employees. But through the years, we’ve remained as the pet boarding facility relied on by pet owners in Yeppoon for quality, compassionate services.

Our entire office is pet friendly! We have very large play areas where your dogs can roam free all day and make friends. And we have adorned the rooms with trampoline beds, soft beddings and plenty of toys, so your pet is sure to have a grand time.

We have been in business for more than 40 years, and we believe it all comes down to our ability to make our animal friends feel happy and at home throughout their stay with us. All of the members of our team are animal lovers. Expect that when you pick up your pets, they’ll be clean, happy, healthy and well exercised.

Our Pawsome Place

Yeppoon Boarding Kennels and Cattery has been in business for nearly 50 years. It is now owned by Angela and Lester Peel who are passionate about providing safe, comfortable accommodation for your cats and dogs (and occasionally birds and guinea pigs!!) We are not a huge facility and that allows us to know all our guests well. We get to know their varying personalities, their special dietary requirements, monitor their intake, able to administer medicines as required, their likes and dislikes and who they like to hang out with or whether they prefer some quieter, alone time. Our house is amongst the kennels so we are very aware if anything is upsetting them at night which we can attend to immediately. They can hear our TV and probably smell our cooking (good or bad!!)


Our staff too, are passionate about animals and have great experience in taking care of cats and dogs and making our guests feel happy and well loved during their stay with us.


We encourage newcomers to visit our kennels and cattery to see for themselves where their best friend will be staying. Please call ahead to make an appointment if you wish to view our facility.
